Usage data: We may collect anonymized information such as pages visited, browser type, device information, and feature usage statistics to improve our services and user experience.

How We Use Your Information

We process information only when necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, protect our legitimate interests, or when you have given consent.

Data Storage

Your focus data, including intentions, sessions, distractions, and reflections, is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. If you sign in, your data may also be synchronized with our secure database to enable access across multiple devices.

We use Supabase for database and authentication services. Data may be processed and stored on infrastructure operated by trusted cloud providers that implement industry-standard security measures.

Leaderboard

If you complete focus sessions, your display name and weekly focus time may appear on the public weekly leaderboard. Anonymous users may be assigned generated display names such as "FocusNinja#4821".

Cookies and Similar Technologies

MindCtrl may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember preferences, improve functionality, analyze website traffic, and support advertising services such as Google AdSense.
